Monet, like the painter -
Monet is an NYC-based actor, singer, and creator. She was raised in Redondo Beach, CA, and carries that California sunshine within her wherever she goes. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Monet has always had a deep love for musical theatre, but recently she's been obsessed with the humanity and the technique of acting for the camera. She's been in a weekly class with Eric Reis, Bob Krakower's right-hand man, since early 2020.
One of her most favorite theatre credits was the critically-acclaimed, award-winning Off-Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, where she was the standby for Johanna, Beggar Woman, and Adolfo Pirelli. She performed alongside such legends as Norm Lewis, Carolee Carmello, and Hugh Panero, to name a few. Stephen Sondheim even stopped the pie shop a few times!
Monet is a collaborator at heart (the rehearsal process has always been her favorite part of a show), and adores developing new works and singing through new music. She has a professional home setup where she has recorded many song demos and voiceover projects. Monet has also written, directed, and performed in many original cabarets around the city, keeping in line with that zest for developing new projects -- most recently she debuted a duo show with her boyfriend Matthew Stoke at Feinstein's/54 Below, as well as a solo early-Sondheim cabaret at Don't Tell Mama. She also has a self-titled Big Band EP on iTunes.
